iPhone app
Source, list, and track profit from your phone
Instica for iPhone is the sourcing half of the job: decide whether an item is worth buying while you are still standing in front of it, then capture it into the same inventory your web account already has.
Requires iPhone running iOS 16 or later. Free to download.
What it does
-
Deal Check
Photograph an item in the aisle and get resale comps, a max-buy price, and a fee-adjusted margin before you hand over any money. Scout Scan reads a shelf label and triages it for you.
-
Quick Capture
Camera-first intake. Photograph an item and it becomes an inventory record with photos attached, not a note you have to type up later.
-
Specifics Tailor
Suggests item specifics and flaw disclosures for a listing, so the fields buyers filter on are filled in rather than skipped.
-
Descriptions you can edit
A drafted description you rewrite in place. Nothing publishes without you reading it first.
-
One inventory
Every item, its cost, its status, and where it is listed — the same records as the web app, on the same account.
-
Orders and shipments
What sold, what it netted after fees, and where the package is, without opening a marketplace app.
-
Sync Receipts
An audit trail of what Instica changed on your behalf and when, with a monthly statement you can keep.
Try it without an account
On the sign-in screen, tap Try Demo. That signs you into a populated demo workspace — inventory, orders, and marketplace connections already in place — with no credentials and nothing to cancel. Deal Check works there too.
Marketplaces
Connect eBay, Shopify, and Discogs. The free plan includes eBay; Operator and Studio include all three. Connections are made once and shared between the app and the web account.
What it costs
The free plan is permanent: 25 active listings, no expiry, and it is where you land if a paid plan ever lapses — the app does not lock you out of your own records.
Operator and Studio are available as in-app subscriptions with a 14-day free trial. Because Apple attaches trials to an auto-renewable subscription, the mobile trial asks for a payment method up front; the no-card trial is a web signup only. App Store prices differ slightly from the web prices for the same plan, and the exact amount is shown on the App Store page and on the upgrade screen before you buy.

Searching the App Store for the name will not find it reliably. This link will.
